You sat through the lecture. Kampos makes sure you still know it weeks later.
Record or upload your class. Kampos writes it up, builds study material from what was actually said, and tracks what's sticking — so you find the gaps before the exam does.

How it works
Three steps, and the last one is the point.
Step 1
Add your class
Drop in the syllabus: a PDF, a Word file, a Canvas page, even a photo of the handout. Premium puts every exam, due date and class day on your calendar; free shows you what's in it.
Step 2
Record or upload each lecture
Press record when class starts, or drop the slides in afterwards. Type your own notes alongside and flag anything Important, Confused, or On the exam. Kampos writes it up around them.
Step 3
Study what hasn't stuck
Flashcards and practice tests built from your own lecture, scheduled by how well you actually knew each term last time. Not by how long you stared at it.
Why it's called Kampos
Named after the part of your brain that makes memories last.
The hippocampus is what turns something that just happened into something you'll still know next month. That's the whole idea behind this.
Every topic in every course moves along a ladder, and Kampos shows you where each one actually sits — not how many times you've reviewed it, but what you'd get right if someone asked you today.
Topic mastery

- 2Acquainted

- 4Familiar
- 5Long-term memory
Review is scheduled from this, so the terms you keep missing come back sooner and the ones you've got stop wasting your time.

Your notes, not just the transcript
You already know what mattered. Kampos listens to that first.
Type notes while you listen. Every line is stamped against the recording, so a half-finished thought at 12:31 still knows exactly which part of the lecture it came from.
Flag a line Important, Confused, or On the exam and it changes what you get back. Confused lines get explained more carefully. Exam lines are guaranteed to show up in your key points and your study set.
Exams
Find out you're not ready while there's still time to fix it.
Every exam from every syllabus sits in one place, with the lectures it covers. Kampos reads how you're actually doing on those cards and shows what's shaky, so the week before the midterm goes to the topics that need it.

No class Tuesday or Thursday, so those days never count against you.
Keep showing up
A streak that knows your schedule.
Your streak counts the days you have class, so a day with no lecture never breaks it. Show up on class days and it keeps climbing.
Studying earns study coins to spend in the store. Only reviews that are due count, so cramming doesn't earn more. Spaced out beats an all-nighter.
What happens to your recording
Your recording doesn't stick around.
No audio is ever stored
Your browser's own speech recognition turns the lecture into text as it happens. The audio never reaches Kampos, so there is no recording to keep, leak or hand over.
Stored privately, never at a public link
Syllabi, slides, readings and photos are read on your device and never uploaded; only their text is kept. A PDF you upload as a lecture goes to private storage only to extract its text, and access links are signed on the server, for you, and expire.
Never sold, never handed to advertisers
Your lectures are not a data product. No ad pixels, no tracking cookies, no profile built from your classes.
Yours to take or delete
Export everything Kampos holds as a single file, or delete your account with your lectures, notes and study sets, from Settings.
One thing we'd rather say up front
Recording rules vary by school, by class and by state, and some of them require everyone in the room to agree. Kampos asks you to check your instructor's policy before your first recording, because that call is yours to make and we'd rather you make it knowingly than find out later.
